Years ago a friend and I decided to get a float rating. We flew our planes to a little spot in the gold mining area of California. We learned to fly in a J3 super Cub, off a small pond. We learned to park on a beach, park next to a dock and tie off, fly over and under bridges, guy wires, anything that could hurt us. It was a lot of fun. This is NO cub. This has much more power and will hold a lot more weight. It is a workhorse of planes, the Canadian Beaver.

This is a plane with skis. We just landed atop Denali. It is a very insecure landing on skis. It is more like a controlled skid. You can taken advantage of similar flights through any of the air taxis in Talkeetna, Alaska.
